Troubleshooter of Error: Auto-starting when its in hibernating mode

Auto-starting when its in hibernating mode

When my computer is in hibernating mode, i will remove all the AC sources such as the AC adapter and the battery, cause my computer cant resume its session although no battery is in need..
When i plugged in the my AC adapter, it auto-start although i did
not on it..
Help anyone..
how can i solved the problem by not allowing starting by its own when i plugged my AC adapter into the computer.
My computer model is Dell Inspiron 1440.

This may be caused from the Power Save feature on most Laptops.

The Processor operates at the maximum rated speed with the AC Power supply plugged in; once you disconnect the power supply the processor reduces its speed to approximately half the rated speed.
 
You set your computer for Hibernation and it is on the power saver option; it will likely come out of hibernation when the power supply is reestablished - the hibernation senses the change and wakes up the computer for use.
 
I would suggest you to try the following steps:
 
Step 1:Check the AC adapter settings
 
1)   Click on  Start > type in
devmgmt.msc in the search box and press Enter
 
2)   Locate the  AC adapter and expand the device > Right click on
AC adapter (when the AC Adapter is plugged in) and select
Properties
 
3)   Go to Power management tab > and
clear the option that reads
 
4)   “Allow this device to wake the computer” option if available and click OK
 
 
Now test to see if the issue persists, if the issue persist try step 2
 
Step 2: Choose a different power plan.

Machine Throttling
  • Go to the Start button.
  • In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
  • On the right window pane, delete the subkey: "Machine Throttling".
  • Reboot your computer.
