when I start my windows 7 I get a Boot Manger (black screen message) File:\BOOT\BCD Status 0xc000000d When I follow instructions I only have a choice to reformat and return disk to factory settings and lose all my data.
Any suggestions?

If it fits a 2.5" external enclosure you might be able to access the drive to recover your data files. You may be lucky there.
External enclosures are not over expensive.
Is the drive a solid state drive or a conventional sata drive?
