i have installed windows 8 on my laptop lenovo Z560.But im getting problem on brightness because it cannot reduce brightness instead showing full bright.

Charms Menu - Settings - Brightness

WinKEY + X - Control Panel - Power Options - Brightness - there are options on the bottom
of this page and for each Power Plan.

Right click the battery icon in the Notification Area of the Taskbar - Brightness.

From the Desktop - Right Click any blank area - Graphic Properties - check the available settings
there.

Be sure to update BIOS, chipset drivers, and the other drivers (especially video) which may help.
And check for Windows 8 compatibility.
