hello,

i have a sony vaio e14p touchsmart which was pre installed with windows 8.  As soon as i upgraded to windows 8.1 software i noticed 2 problems :

1) the brightness- whenever i change it , after a few seconds or a minute it returns to some deafault brightness setting by itself.

2) the fan - after upgrading to windows 8.1 my fan only runs at max speed and it makes noise which i cant bear, my laptop is set at balanced performance setting .
before upgrading it was working fine.

please help !!
