Black mirror 2 can't initialize directx error message

been playing this game since getting it this xmas and has been working fine, but then I got a new monitor LG E2360 and ever since changing it the game has not worked.
this is the only game that does not work, whats going on? how can changing a monitor stop
the game from working, Iv tried reinstalling but no difference still wont load, just comes up with an error message 'can't initialize directx' please help

I'd suggest you follow the steps given below

I'd suggest you reduce hardware acceleration and check if it helps

Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start
button, clicking Control Panel , and then, under Appearance and Personalization , clicking Adjust screen resolution .

Click Advanced Settings , click the Troubleshoot
tab, and then click Change settings .
Note that some video card drivers do not permit you to change settings.
