Troubleshoot:Backup has stopped working. Error

Backup has stopped working.

The scheduled backups are not running and nothing happens when click Backup Now.
I've checked the following services:  Block Level Backup Engine, Volume Shadow Copy and Windows Backup - all are set for 'automatic' and are started/running.  I ran "sdclt.exe
/configure" from the start menu as an administrator, and it brought me to the setup menu for backup but the backup still won't run.
I ran an SFC scan and it reported no integrity violations.  Anyone have any other ideas?
