We have Windows Vista.
For some reason we can no longer type in a search string in the HP dialog box and access the internet.
Suggestions anyone?? We have tried almost everything..
When we use the desktop icon for our elected home page it works fine.

What is the HP dialog box?  A kind of Address bar?  If so you may have search from the Address bar disabled and in that case only be able to enter full URLs there or at best use a search prefix search as  ? find or go  to indicate your intention to do
a search with your default web search engine.   Sounds like this would be a question you might have more luck asking HP support for help with.
