Cannot access one website-DNS server not responding.

Hi

I cannot access certain websites on my laptop or on the wireless via any other device.
Also when I try to diagnose connection problems, it states to me 'DNS server is not reponding.' I have already deleted cookies and internet history.
How do I fix this? Thanks!

Have you made any changes to the computer prior to the issue?
Check in event viewer for any error related logs

Method 1: I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps:
a.
Click Start, type “cmd” in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. 
b.
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
ipconfig /flushdns (there is a space between ipconfig and / )
c.
It will show the message successfully flushed the DNS resolver cache.
d.
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
ipconfig /registerdns (there is a space between ipconfig and / )

Method 3: Follow the steps mentioned below and check if it helps:
a.     Type “cmd” in start search box but do not press enter.
b.     Right click on cmd.exe and select “Run as administrator”.
c.      Type the following command in command prompt and press enter after each command.
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Machine Throttling

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
• On the right window pane, delete the subkey: "Machine Throttling".
• Restart your computer.
